JANET DAVIS, CPA, CFP®
Janet Davis, owner and president of Trusted Advisors Consulting, is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with over 15 years of income, estate and gift tax planning experience. Her many years of public accounting experience at public accounting firms Arthur Andersen and Clifton Gunderson have given her a strong compliance background as well, and she continues to prepare all types of individual, trust and business income tax returns.
Janet’s current practice works with Certified Financial Planners and other professionals to jointly meet clients’ financial goals in a tax efficient manner. Areas of specialization include income tax planning and return preparation for professionals as well as for small businesses and their owners.
Janet’s second passion is teaching. As an adjunct professor at California Lutheran University, Janet instructs MBA students on how accounting and income tax is an important part of all businesses and industries. As a public speaker, Janet helps fellow accountants and financial planners, as well as other professionals and the general public understand what aspects of tax law they need to know and under what scenarios they should rely on professional advice. Janet also speaks on technical topics that qualify for CPA, CFP and insurance continuing education credits.
Janet is a member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, National Association of Women Business Owners, Southern Arizona Estate Planners Council, Planned Giving Roundtable and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is an enthusiastic supporter of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.
